The inspiration comes from Romanian folk costume and the world of ancestral crafts: blouses patiently hand-embroidered, ritual textiles, home-woven rugs, fote and catrințe, geometric and floral motifs that have told stories, stood in for amulets, and signaled belonging. In “Origini”, these reference points are filtered through modern art and transformed into a clean, expressive, airy visual language. Motifs once embroidered by hand become bold graphic strokes, linear rhythms, and almost architectural compositions. Traditional borders are recomposed in minimalist registers, while black-and-white contrasts are staged with vivid, urban accents that infuse energy and freshness.

The silhouettes have a ceremonial air: generous volumes, layers, and vertical lines that subtly reference festive attire, yet move naturally in everyday life. Tradition finds its natural place alongside minimalism, in a mix of culture, memory, and contemporary lifestyle.
