The inspiration comes from Romanian folk costume and the universe of old crafts: blouses patiently embroidered by hand, ritual textiles, household rugs, wrap skirts and aprons, geometric and floral motifs that have told stories, served as amulets, and expressed belonging. In “Origins,” these reference points are filtered through modern art and transformed into a clean, expressive visual language full of breathing space. Motifs once embroidered become bold graphic strokes, linear rhythms, and almost architectural compositions. Traditional borders are recomposed into minimalist registers, while black-and-white contrasts are staged with vivid, urban accents that bring energy and freshness.

The silhouettes have a ceremonial air: generous volumes, layering, and vertical lines that subtly reference festive costume, yet move naturally in everyday life. The traditional finds its natural place next to minimalism, in a mix of culture, memory, and contemporary lifestyle. The collection is built on the VLAdiLA DNA and on essential Romanian values: respect for craftsmanship and symbol, continuity between generations, authenticity, cultural dignity, and the courage to be ourselves in the present, not only in the past. “Origins” also speaks through archetypes.
